Greetings! I am a Philadelphia-based freelancer currently teaching at my alma mater, Moore College of Art & Design. I am highly interested in doing oil illustrations with an emphasis on portraiture, and also working in the children's publishing field in watercolor.
Biography: With art being an integral part of my youth, training began early; my mother being my first teacher. I excelled in all periods of my early art instruction, winning art awards and recognition in primary and secondary school. Throughout high school, I attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts for three years, drawing and painting plaster casts from a classical viewpoint. I chose Illustration as my major at Moore College of Art & Design. In 2003 I graduated cum laude, and later that year, I was invited back to the school to teach. Since then, I have continued to instruct at Moore, and have been building up my freelance portfolio.
