I design stuff for fun, school, or submitting t-shirts to Threadless - I'm 17. I also do some photography (doing video as well as photo's), I just handed my folio in, and ready to start a new one. I also just handed in my folio for 'Visual Communication & Design' (a subject based around design), where I designed three snowboards that go with a theme, and designed a logo, and two poster advertisements... I also chucked in a couple of stencils.
Biography: I don't really know what to put in here, cos I'm quite young... but here goes. I think I started designing stuff properly when I was 14, when I got my first Apple Mac (because my PC crashed so many times, lol), and all the stuff I did was in photoshop; just mucking around with tuturials from the net and playing around with photos.
Then the next year, I was 15, and I did work experience at a design firm for five days, which was pretty awesome. That was where I designed my first snowboards, and I attempted to design a simple website on dreamweaver for the boards I designed. And at that design firm is where I got into Illustrator, and I still absolutely love it!
I'm now 17, almost 18, and almost finished school (something like 36 days I think!)
Basically the things I've designed/altered/enhanced are:
Design
- T-Shirts (a lot)
- Snowboards
- Backgrounds
- Logo's
- CD Cover's
Altered
- Images from the net
- Photos I have taken
- Other random things to create backgrounds
Enhanced
- Photos
- Images/Photos for avatar's
I have also had some experience with Flash MX - Making an animated map for a school project, which needed to show where we travelled when we went to the Great Barrier Reef, and also mucking around doin some random shape stuff.
