I am somewhat influenced by the impressionists and I like to create watercolours and pastels that are very ethereal and dreamy, rather than create an exact representation of what I see. More recently I have been creating angels and I am presently channelling the different qualities represented by each angel. As a spiritual person who also meditates, art for me is both a spiritual force and a meditation and I’ve found that the artist’s crayons I use to create the angels are the perfect medium for inducing the alpha state of meditation while absorbed in the art of creating.
Biography: I spent 4 years in my twenties in Carmarthen School of Art in West Wales, UK and in later years also studied for an honours degree in Occupational Therapy. More recently I have combined both my love of art & creativity with my healing abilities (both spiritual and academic) under a more alternative format and run self development workshops using art, writing, meditation and creative imagery for self expression, awareness and discovery. My artwork however, remains the big love of my life.
