Biography: Gorban Anna was born in the city of Omsk on July, 5th, 1974. In some years she moved to Krasnoyarsk together with her parents, that, as a consequence, played a significant role in the art life of the young artist. The originality of the Siberian nature became the basic motive of Anna’s graphic works. The severe taiga, the hills lasting for many kilometers covered by peaks of cedars and fur-trees, graceful silhouettes of rocks of the Krasnoyarsk Reserve - all these characteristic landscapes for Territory till now fascinate by romanticism of “untravelled roads” creative and freedom-loving natures. The nature of mountain areas grasping spirit and exotic places has made the great influence on Anna, having put the basis to her creative development. Tours and plein-air works in Khakassia, the Sayan Mountains, to Altai have helped to create the particular style to the artist, to perfect the skill of making landscapes. Anna started to be engaged in purposefully art activity in the age of 14, by taking part in the children's city and regional exhibitions, the art competitions of youth. Trying the forces in various areas of the art-graphic activity, the next years Anna engaged in advertising, polygraphy, animation, illustrated some poetic collections, editions for children. Having entered the Krasnoyarsk State Art institute in 2000, Anna came back to easel graphics in her creativity. Education 2000-2003. – the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Art (KSAI).
