I am Ahmet Ibukic an academic painter from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am impressed by beautifull river Una in my country, and she is musa of my work. I try to enter inside her soul and her body. Althought I am fascinating about her reflecting surface, I trying to get under and discover her beautifull world. Simplicity of nature is a source of my inspiration. My paintings are ecological. Biography: Born in Bihac 1957. Academic Qualifications: academic painter, graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Sarajevo., Painting Departmant, class of Profesor Milivoj Unkovic. Exibitions: A number of colective and individual exibitions both in the country and abroad. Employments and Achievements: Member of ULUBiH (Artists Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina). At present, Ibukic lives in Bihac, working as a curator of the Regional Museum "Pounje" and a professor of Visual Arts with Methodics at the Univertsity od Bihac.
