Emotion is the soul and spirit of life- without emotions we have nothing. My aim, which I am trying to achieve, is to recapture and convey emotions that I have felt about people and events during my lifetime. That is my goal, and that is everything that an artist can hope to do. If you can see a lover's expression of endearment in one of my florals, then I have succeeded. If you can see a glint of humor or fear in one of my portraits, then I have succeeded. Above all, I am trying to convey what I feel, rather than what I think.
Biography: After burying myself in the creation and operation of a successful computer software business for many years, I now find time for my other loves- my family, golf and painting. We moved recently from Long Island, NY to Hamilton NJ and have discovered that the name - The Garden State - is no exaggeration. The trees, flowers, fruits and vegetables here are plentiful and outstanding.
