Painting (or the Art)- as I think these days - is in my blood. Nothing in this universe attracted me other than an Art Piece, wehter be it a painting or the decorations in grand architecture of Newar people from mediavle Nepal. I feel myself lucky to born in city like Kathmandu in Newar family - one of the most civilized community in the world. My personal surroundings (since I got such nature),were full of colors, ritual events with various ornaments and accessories. There were comics on Targen, Betal and movies by great acters/actress, but my eyes always followed Temples, Gods,Festivals and activities regarding these almost throughout the year. My mother who is also an UN-Exposed artist-as I strongly confirm, IS the one to inspire and help me to develop the Artist inside me. My Father then provided me a firm support of Mr. Kiran Manandhar, the senior artist of Nepal in 1988. This whole thing turned my life from a general household artist to the public one. So, today, I am here because of my family, seniors, friends and wel-wishers. It would be my pleasure to THANK YOU all for ever going support.
Biography: As I can remember, it was the home itself, may be at the age of 3 in presence of my mother, when I started drawing and even Painting. Thus, my art seeded, florished at home. School, provided and environment to make it developed much more. Art activities (basically painting) for me was a type of part-time job during School and even at College life. It was only in the year 2003 AD, when I had job in my hand - the painting actually got its speed. With suggestions and encouragements from Mr. Kiran Manandhar-who is my art teacher and gurdian - I held my 1st One Man Exhibion of paintings at Kathmandu. Since then, the series of 3 more personal and numerous group activities and exhibitions are on my profile. Not only that, I got introduced with many senior/junior artist along with clients and art lovers, dealers. With the support and belief of my collegues, I have been working as the Coordinator for a group consisting of Professional and well as Amature artists. This designation helped me to move further with confidence and work on behalf of more people to come. Moreover, I am working for GOKEM-the institute for Ceramic works by Mr. Kalapremi Shrestha @ Kathmandu. Besides this, I like to organize Art Workshop for School Students. Children/Students are the future. They MUST Be provided almost everything during school life-such that s/he can have Maximum Options to choose from in Future. In this case, there is my wife and son to support and give constructive comments. Thus, it is by strong belief that there will certainly be good artists in future to make world a Better Place to Live on.
