My empathetic nature has always guided my actions, steering me on a path of nurturing, sharing, and giving. With each portrait I create, my intention is to impart a gift to the receiver: the same delightful feelings I experience while capturing the essence of unconditional love and acceptance each subject exemplifies. Technical excellence is essential to me, but I cannot be restricted by it. I strive for perfection, embracing the minutiae, yet challenge myself to capture more than reality can offer by encompassing emotional facets of the subject in my work. I favor digital media because of its experimental nature and the freedom it offers. Each creation launches in uncharted territory and develops into a splendid adventure as I explore techniques and continually refine the work until I ultimately arrive at my destination.
