The work that I am revealing to the public is a 3D abstract vision of my emotional status at the moment of creation. Time and passed experiences had left scars on my soul that made me see things sometimes like in a dream. There is an innovative way of expressing these feelings by the materials I use. Certainly my American experience helped me rediscover myself as an artist. This body of work closes a cycle in my life and gives sense to my past, and a reinsurance that everything happens with a purpose. I explore and use non-conventional materials_ plaster, concrete, wire mesh, plumbing pipes and cables. Large scale artwork incorporating materials designed to service other purposes that art show elegance and become delicate despite the lack of color (sometimes) and brush strokes. On the background, directly on the panel I apply plaster mixed with pigment. Finishes of polyurethane, precisely controlled in density, transform the color into illusions of old deteriorated abstract photographic images, like flash backs of my memories. The compositions tend to show that I have nothing to hide, that I am not afraid of any mistakes and I can stay in control and offer to the viewer my emotions at the intensity that I want, revealed as much as I want. This body of work, is about offering, is about a naked soul during the process of creation .
