Biography: I was born in Malta, but returned to the UK and spent my formative years in Somerset where I met and married my husband. Our working and family lives mean that I have travelled and lived all over England and for a little while in Wales. Four years ago we decided that we would honour our promise to ourselves and we took the decision to move back to the West Country and be roots led rather than career dictated. This has meant some sacrifices, but so did the nomadic work led life we had before and the benefits are huge. I now live in an idyllic setting in a hamlet on the edge of Dartmoor. I look out over a farming community that changes with the seasons and never fails to be an inspiration. I don't often paint the scenes from my window but the inspiration leads to other creativity.
