My ethos: I find myself seduced by dreams and colour. Through painting, I allow myself to slip into a world where reality and fantasy are blurred; where happy accidents are celebrated and delighted in and where intensity and passion govern everything. Painting with emotion requires me to accept that the artistic process is an important part of the finished piece; it's about the journey that gets me to a new magical place. A lot of my work has an element of wonder about it. I enjoy imperfections, stains and experimentation of media. My influences: Marc Chagall Henri Matisse Van Gogh Picasso Tracy Emin Hundertwasser My aspirations: I am now aiming to find a career which allows me to use my imagination and creativity on a daily basis. I hope to one day run art therapy and craft workshops for disadvantaged and disabled young people. I envisage having a space where their work could be displayed and celebrated by the public.
Biography: *Graduated in 2004 from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA Hons in Fine Art. *Currently living and painting in the Cotswolds.
