Christine Philipps paintings distinguish through her choice of apparently ordinary everyday subjects; bus stops, airport terminals, train stations become abstract scenarios, that always appear deserted. These motives in the foreground become an epic cause for communication through artistical expression that goes far deeper. Christine Philipp analyses immaterial phenomena such as light, air and water and interprets their effects pictorially.
