My unique and special pieces are hand crafted by me alone. I am not associated with industrial or commercial jewelry and have no plans to ever mass market my designs. I am well acquainted with many different techniques and I experiment with new designs quite often. My pieces are all one-of-a-kind creations with a high degree of artistic style that represent creativity and the uniqueness of each component's individuality.*** My love affair with jewelry began once I was old enough to tip over my mother's jewelry box and adorn myself, the cat, the dog, and attempted to adorn my two older brothers but they weren't having any of it. That love continues today and will for the rest of my life. I still try to adorn every person I can find. We're all made to sparkle, right? My day job entails working at the College I attend while obtaining a double major in Psychology and Sociology with a double minor in History and English. I work in the Disability Support Services department where I test students with disabilities in all subjects and tutor them in English, the subject, not the language... When I was looking for a hobby (ahem) the thought of jewelry came naturally to me but there was a problem - I knew how to wear it but not how to make it - I am self taught and draw my inspiration from nature and the beautiful enchanting treasures I find that go into every CSH Design. It's my pleasure to create unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. In fact, it's my passion. Each item is thoughtfully crafted to bring out the best possible qualities of the piece no matter how large or small, and you can always be assured that your special treasure is unlike any other piece on earth. I never duplicate my pieces. I sometimes use life experiences to create meaningful items that I hope will become a special part of your life. More often than not the pieces come to life on their own. However the evolution occurs, I hope you'll enjoy the outcome because I certainly enjoy the process. My jewelry is featured in stores and galleries here in the state of Texas and I often do trunk shows to continue my quest of draping everyone I meet in jewelry.
