Meditation was an eleven minute piece of performance art which I created in March 2003 as part of final year examinations for my degree. Through a fusion of light, sound, set, costume and movement the piece was an abstract expression of my meditative experiences. I also used the piece to explore the impact and potential of negative space in performance.
Biography: I trained as a scenographer at the University of Leeds. Whilst studying I became interested in the avant-garde and found that I could create my most personally rewarding work in performance art. I live in Dublin and am studying for a Higher Diploma in Drama Studies at UCD.
