Biography: Growing up in the midlands, I moved to East Devon, UK where I studied outdoor leisure and Tourism. During my time living by the coast I became highly inspired by the beach, the relentless motion of the tide, and rolling waves crashing on the shore line. I started collecting driftwood whenever I visited the beach, and began putting together individual pieces to create items of recycled art. Additionally the opportunity of working with reclaimed slate has enabled me to develop a diverse range of eco-friendly products. The driftwood used is personally collected from Devon heritage coastlines and the rewards of handcrafting my own work are extremely satisfying. The results are guaranteed to be unique since no two pieces of driftwood are identical and all have their own story.
