Biography: I am Jillian Seals, also known as Jill, a current senior at Central High School in a little town called Park Hills, Missouri. I am 18 years old. Next school year I will be attending Mineral Area College where I will decided what career I will do after college. I am also proud to say that I am a cheerleader for the 2008-2009 school year. When it comes to free time I love to read, sketch, and listen to music. I have always had a love for band and music. I think of my self as a unique individual. I am an obsessive organizer and perfectionist. I grew up at an early age, and I am a very serious student. I first became interested in art because of my older sister. I wanted to be able to draw as well as she did. When I was a little older we would have drawing contest against each other even. I have had a love for art and design ever since. My elementary art teacher first inspired my love of sculpture when we made reptiles out of clay. Furthermore, this is when I was introduced to the impressionist style. My favorite painting is Starry Night by Van Gogh. I have taken art classes since 8th grade, and have enjoyed learning about art. I am currently enrolled in Art IV. This year I began to experiment with other mediums than pencil and discovered that I prefer using ink. I have worked with several mediums including: pencil drawing, ink, pointillism, cross-hatching, oil painting, clay and cardboard 3-D sculptures, and design. I am also currently the Art Club President. I look forward to exploring and learning more about art and what careers I can pursue in the art field.
