My speciality as an illustrator is children's illustration, but I am also interested in illustrations with variety of subjects and in graphic novels. I do enjoy for example, to produce illustrations for detective fiction novels and experiment with greyscale tones. As a person I always pay attention on the detail and that's what I am doing in my illustrtions and portraits. I enjoy using more traditional materials like colour pencils, watercolours, pastels, sometimes though, I put the finishing touches on Photoshop. I am taking my work very seriously and that's why I am dealing every project I undertake with special attention and accuracy.
Biography: Hi! I am Galini and I am a freelance illustrator and portrait artist based in the UK. I graduated in 2005 from the University of Wolverhampton where I was studying for a BA(hons) degree in Illustration. I exhibited my work to the D&AD New Blood Exhibition in London (2005). I also illustrated the covers of the two-part book "Myth or History?" which was published in March 2006 in Greece.
