Biography: Gustavo Caprin was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1968. He majored in Painting at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrred?n Of Buenos Aires, in 1992. Since 1994 his work has been shown regularly in individual exhibitions. The most recent include exhibitions at the Casa Elizalde (Spain, 2003), the Ross Farell Gallery, (USA, 1999) and the Museo Fern?n F?lix de Amador (Argentina, 1997). He has also participated in numerous group shows in the United States (Kantor Gallery, 121 Gallery/Los Angeles,), Spain (Casa de America/Madrid, Casa de Cultura/Girona, Italy (Casa Argentina/Rome, Unimovie Festival/Pescara), Canada (6th Biennale Champ Libre/Montreal), Colombia (Museo de Arte Moderno/Bogot?), Per? (Centro Cultural Espa?a/Lima) as well as other European and South American countries. As a teacher, he worked at the Facultad de Arquitectura at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Aesthetics) from 1996 to 1998, and at Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrred?n (Drawing) in 1997. The same year he co-ordinated the entrance examination to the institution. During this period he also worked in numerous colleges. He is living and working in Barcelona, Spain.
