Though still a student of the arts, everyday I develop my craft further and in turn found my own purpose and unique voice as an artist. I tend to portray the idealistic side of whatever photograph. I explore the uses of form, beauty, irony, and satire. Observing natural behavior is what drives me as a photographer. In my photography I try to invoke a sense of gratitude, solidarity, and awe, especially in nature photography. Overall, I tend to see photography as a communication of one’s own perspective. Translating my thoughts into a photograph and in turn having another understand, is what I find most rewarding.
Biography: Born and raised in a military home I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries and experience a variety of cultures. Though my travels, I have developed a deep love and affinity for the art of photography and the messages it can convey to all people. Travel has enabled me to see the fundamental nature of landscapes; from the tropics of the Hawaiian Pacific to the mountainous landscape of Europe.
