My art comes from a perspective of having traveled the width and breadth of both Canada and the US, and also having resided in many diferent locales within the United States. I would have to say that the paintings and drawings are mostly about irony and solitude.
Biography: I attended Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Forestry and Environmental Science where I received a degree in Forest Biology. It was at Syracuse U. that first exposed to creative photography as a student. I have gone on to study drawing in New Orleans, watercolor painting at the University of New Mexico in Taos, oil painting and printmaking at the Maine College of Art in Portland and most recently web design with the Portland Adult Education Program. In the past I have showed my work in several galleries in New Orleans and Texas, but nowadays I exhibit locally in a few local coffee shops and the Maine College of Art Annual Auction.
