In 2000 I began working for an illustration agency and produced artwork for greetings cards, advertising, books and eventually open edition fine art prints for a New York based publisher. Since being selected for the 2004 BP Portrait Awards exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery I have chosen to concentrate on portraiture full-time. During 2006 I won the Holburne Dukes prize for contemporary portraiture, requested to produce a small piece for the National Portrait Gallery to celebrate their 150th anniversary, elected a member of the Bath Society of Artists and given the honour of being ‘Invited Artist’ for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual Show at the Mall Galleries in London.
