My art work is predominantly inspired by the figure. I enjoy abstract expressive painting yet also realistic observational painting. As an artist teacher I value basic drawing skills and appreciate the rich visual source of our surroundings by being observant. Travelling and personal experiences also add to the source of inspiration for my art. I am passionate about creating art and find it a necessity in my life as oppose to a hobby.
