Artist Statement: "Art work is complex. With everything we make, whether we try or not, a piece of our own personality is infused within the work. It is the struggle of ideas... To communicate concisely or to let the piece grab who it chooses. I enjoy that moment, that connection when my art is felt by another who doesn’t necessarily know the context it was created. That is where a love of process comes into play, and how the end result of this process may bump into a certain amount of random minds and each one may have a different interpretation. Vague art works for me, because the diversity of thought that it encourages is a vehicle for finding truth in life. Time, circumstance, and diversity are the ingredients of evolution... these all serve as fuel for my art. Although the art work is from me, I think it has in common with all art, a celebration of the individual mind reaching out to others... and because of this, creativity should be one of our most nurtured and treasured birthrights."
