Syed A .Irfan is undoubtedly a modern master and a true identity of Pakistan. He stepped into the Art world in 2000, at the age of 18, by a group exhibition of Miniature with other artist. An exhibition marked as “The Revival of Miniature Art in Pakistan” by Late S.Amjad Ali .A gap of 40 years between the exhibition of this duo and the past artist certainly makes it a Revival. The difference between Syed A. Irfan and other miniaturists is the purity of his soul which in turn runs into his colors and strokes. There is a life in his miniature and one finds himself under the magical spell in no time. Syed A. Irfan has truly revolutionized miniature art and has succeeded in creating the most authentic fusion of Miniature Art and Calligraphy Art. He has taken a bold step and enter a phase where ‘isms' take birth , where artist dare enter in a whole lifetime. I personally feel that artist like Syed Abdul Irfan are not born in centuries and hope that the greatness of his personality which has now started to erupt on the surface paper is recorded in time as a golden chapter in itself.
