I've been interested in photography for a while. I think it first started when I would go on family vacations and want to capture all the scenery and memories. While I was little and my parents would be taking the pictures, I wanted to take pictures of my own. Now that I'm older and take my own pictures, my family relies on me because they know how much I love photography. I also enjoy looking at photographs. Many different photographers have inspired me. This is another reason I was urged to try to take some of my own. My work has evolved as I explore different concepts of photography. There are so many different things you can take pictures of and different techniques. As my interests change my photography does as well. It is a lot different now then it was when I first started. My work evolves when I learn new things as well. I like black and white photography and close ups a lot. I like to my photography to be both traditional and have a graphic design nature. It really depends on the topic and how I want it to be portrayed. Photography is fun because it can be very experimental. You can also express your emotions in photography. I like to spend time taking walks and going to new places with my camera. Even when I'm just sitting at home I always have my camera near by. I never know when I'm going to see something and think I could take a nice picture. Color, value and shape interest me the most in photography. When viewers look at my work I want them to obviously like it and think its worth their while because I am proud of the work I've done. It would be nice if they walked away with ideas for photography themselves and could use my photographs as inspiration. Photography is a hobby but it always play a greater role in my life. I love photography, my own and others. I think photography is very important and I can not imagine not having it in the future.
