Art captures the eye, captivates the soul, and tames the heart. I gave up my dream of being an artist a long time ago, but have recently rediscovered the joy painting brings me, so I've decided to give it one more shot. I have no formal training; I've never studied under anyone famous, nor have I ever been to art school. I just paint what I feel, or what I see that inspires me. Some might consider that amateur, I call it passion. Even if I never win any accolades or even sell a painting, I'm just thrilled to be back to doing something I love.
Biography: I'm a 29 year old single mother, which takes up most of my time and is the most rewarding job I have. Other than that, I work in a factory, which is boring and mundane. I started painting and drawing when I was a child, and was lucky enough to have wonderful art teachers throughout school who nurtured my abilities. I gave up my dreams after life happened, but am now at a time in my life where I am trying to get back what defines who I am as a person. This is one of those steps.
