Biography: Canadian artist John Drescher specializes in realism / surrealism drawings on various mediums created with pencil and graphite. Several of his works are in private collections across Canada. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, John continues to extend and refine elements of his artistic processes after twenty years of study and application. Having no formal education in the arts John has adapted much of his artistic knowledge from his years as a professional photographer. Being able to carry over skills with composition, lighting, shadows and style. Informal Mentors is continual and every artist John meets he makes it a point to learn something new that he can apply to his own work This continual immersion keeps his approach and work fresh and always evolving.
