Biography: John Ford is a native of the Buffalo area. He was first turned on to creating artwork by his brother Thomas Ford and his aunt Mary Bushen. He started in photography as a student at SUNY Brockport near Rochester. He has been largely influenced by the paintings of Edward Hopper and the photos of O. Winston Link. Ford focuses mostly on urban lanscapes at night and has recently started light painting with long exposures.
