Biography: I am a full-time Mom, self-taught Artist, and I have a passion for makeup artistry. I have been drawing since I was a little girl; watching my mom create all forms of art daily. My mom (in heaven for over 7) was and still is my main influence. She was my photographer and always the most versatile artist ever! She raised 6 kids being an artist and a store owner. A truly beautiful soul in all ways. She's an extremely talented Artist as well. Her and I were friends back in High School. And like so many great people I've found on here, we found each other again on MySpace. Ah so easy to take for granted people and real connections. We live in the same area, same island, and never see one another. So I went into her place of employment, well for now her place. She is venturing out on her own and opening an amazing gallery one which will be filled with more than beautiful art, but also be a place for people to come and find peace, serenity and balance within themselves. I went into the Spa she works at out in Haiku, and had the most amazing facial. Laugh I know, pampering myself. Please I have had one facial in all my years of life. And this, let me tell ya, I am going back once a month to enjoy the treatment I received from this amazing student, who finished her clinic today, named Sheila Moore. If you live in Maui, you have got to experience this girl. OMG amazing. Okay so yes I treated myself today. This was no ordinary facial. I got a foot massage while it was being done, ah...my arms, my hands, my fingers, OMG I was in heaven. LOL... Along with such incredible treatment I found a calm, I found balance, I found some peace with so much I have been struggling with. The treatment was simply the prelude to all of this. When I completed my pampering, well for today. I will be going back for a full massage on Wed, lol. When all was done, I went out to lunch with Kat. Wow so many years passed and yet not a day it seems. Our lives so completely different than in our youth, but the core of who we both are, so much the same. I love people; it's simply the way I am. And I love seeing things in people. All people so different, so much one can read from a face, a look, a touch, a vibe... Kat is like a book that you open, start to read, and from the first page, you are hooked...and simply cannot put it down... And once you read the whole book, you are desperately in search for the one that follows it. Have you ever known someone like this? It's a true gift... I was lacking inspiration for many reasons lately. Kat gave me loads of it today, by simply reminding me, of who I am, what I am about, and seeing me for ME... Sometimes something so simple, can be something so HUGE as well. Thank YOU Kat... Thank you for recognizing what I needed, and moreover for recognizing ME... I love you Sweetie... And I am blessed to know you, and call you a very dear friend..."
