Biography: My name is Karen Slade, I live in a small market town in Wiltshire called Devizes . I started painting approximately 27 years ago which has given me plenty of time to find a style and use of paints that makes me come alive .My love of nature can be seen in my work. I love to work with acrylics and water colours on canvas stretched over wooden frames. My work is best described as contemporary Abstract . It proved to be quite difficult to obtain frames to suit all my needs without having them specially made, because of this, I now make my own frames and stretch my own canvas. This also helps people who need a odd shape to fit there room or size they would most like.I also buy many as i have found a great place.
