Biography: Born in 1959 in the southeastern US in rural Alabama it seems that I grew up with a pencil in my hand. I attended the Florida School of the Arts and won a scholarship from the Palatka Arts Council. I have worked primarily as a graphic artist. I have also worked for many years as a sign artist trying to keep some of the old style craftsmanship alive in the field. I have tried to concentrate on hand painted signs along with some hand carved, airbrush and gold leaf work. I have been working on some of my own pieces instead of 'work for hire'. I work in many different mediums and styles. As far as my painting and drawing it seems that I lean towards a more illustrative style.
