I work mainly in oil paint on canvas. My main focus is the human condition and state of mind. Using people as a starting point, I attempt to explore the depths of the human psyche through quiet and internal moments, inviting the viewer to search within him/her self to find the connections between him/her and the painting. I firmly believe that each painting is not a stable, immobile and unchanging entity, but is a living organism that shifts shape and mood depending on the internal state of emotions and thoughts of the viewer. Thus, each person creates a unique and personal connection to each painting, in accordance with his or her own particular way of thinking. Through my paintings I aim at creating the conditions that are essential to invite individuals to take a closer look into themselves by reacting to the feelings and thoughts raised by the images.
