Biography: Currently working as a contemporary artist in and around the Newcastle upon Tyne area, my favourite way of painting is using geometry as I tend to like working with an arrangement of shapes. I graduated in 2004 with a Higher National Diploma in graphic Design after studying hard and continously for 2 years and previous to this, I had gained a National Diploma in the same subject and this is definitely one thing that comes in handy when using geometry. My favourite medium for painting is Acrylic as I think the way you can achieve different textures is amazing. As well as painting, there is my love for drawing with Karisma pencils which are a fantastic medium for blending. The effect that can be achieve with Karisma pencils is phenomenal and when you are finshed, your left with a strong colour that leaves no gaps or bits of whiteness.
