Biography: I am a self taught artist born in Columbus, Ohio in 1970. My mediums range from oil to charcoal. I love to take pictures of my subjects, but sometimes find myself too shy to do it the way I see it. I find my subjects in my dreams, sometimes they haunt me. I am not trying to say in any way that I see dead people, but sometimes I feel too much....So my subjects are not always the people around me, although they do inspire me so. It is nothing for me to use the Ouija Board and experiment my inner self to draw out some of my work. I create from what's inside, whether it be happy, sad, or totally freaked out stressed creatures; if I feel it, I draw or paint it. I used to sell my art in a gallery, about 10 years ago. It was called the Copeland Gallery of Fine Art in Dublin, Ohio. I was there around 2 years maybe more, I started to get a bad taste in my mouth and I really was not ready for the gallery just yet. I then started LeanneM Studios, which has lead into LeanneM Galleries. I am married and have 2 children, great friends & family, 2 kitties Sick Boy & Malice, 2 Sheppard's Basha & Bashar all who inspire me as well.
