The Sculptures
The figurative pieces are intentional androgynous and stylised in a way to highlight certain aspects of the pose but still remain identifiable. Using a fuller figure adds to the solidity of the piece whilst still keeping a delicate nature to certain features. All the pieces are attractively tactile and have a resonance to them inviting touch. He is happiest when the pieces can be touched and not only visually enjoyed. He’s aware that as soon as the pieces are finished the works take on a life of there own. Finding there own reason for existence in the minds of the viewer.
If you have any enquires or questions on the work please leave a message or comment in the guest book or send me an email and I will be happy to reply.
