The Amsterdam Design & Animation agency ‘No Cigar’ doesn’t just offer traditional film posters of classic and contemporary movies, but is composing artistic film impressions with symbolical, spiritual and other meaningful imagery.
Biography: The artist Lucebert de Mooij, born and raised in Amsterdam, mixes photo-realistic 3D-compositions with original photo material in order to induce the cinematic atmosphere of a movie and/or intentions of a particular director. He uses his skills as a psychologist, designer and audiovisual computer technician to produce original and expressive art and works closely with photo labs to produce glossy photographs of his digital images, and offset printers to create high-end film posters (thick paper quality with colour proof ink, UV-varnish) or hard-bodied objects of art (high quality plexi-glass finishing, photographic print).
