Egyptian painter
Biography: My father’s name is : Ahmed A.Fattah. He is born March,30th 1910 and got his diploma from the High School for Fine Arts in 1934. After some correspondances with Walt Disney he was able to draw and produce the first Egyptian cartoon film in 1937. Two more cartoon films and then he preferred to become a teacher of fine arts. Hundreds of his paintings (since 1934 till now ) are stored in Alexandria-Egypt where he used to live and in U.S. ... In 2001 I succeeded to get his permission to exhibit 90 of his paintings (pastel ) at Mahmoud Saeed Museum in Alexandria. In 2004 was the second solo exhibition (oil ) at the Alexandria Center for Arts. Most of his work are still stored and needs to see the daylight. Artist's son Maged
