My work is about the international myths. The myths to which we can all relate. It is about Princesses, Dragons, Witches, Wizards, fairies, heroes and heroines. I believe that art is not about the natural appearance of things, but is really about how we feel and our emotions.
Biography: I have painted from being a child. I was an only child and turned to art for company. I painted companions for myself in the shape of other children, fairies, goblns and animals. I graduated from Sunderland University with BA(Hons) and MA. Whilst doing my MA I was seduced by stained glass and fused glass and now my work contains this element. I am an animal lover and have three dogs and a cat. I live in North Yorkshire.
