WINDOWS TO THE WORLD OF THE ARTIST.
In my artwork I let intuition to be part of the creative process in this way there is a freedom of expression, creating random movements which allows my most inaccessible emotions to come into being, in this way I tap into a chaotic space where old memories of oneself's experiences are kept, this once again allows me to create the brush strokes definig my emotions. In the process of creating the piece there is a sense of liberation, there is no preconcived ideas of what the final image should look like, this is the freedom that I am interested in, because the possibilities are endless. When the first layers of paint start to appear, then it becomes the interpretation period, at the same time that the paint is applied my conscious mind tells me that I need to make sense of it, so any forms and colours beecomes tools to which to enlighten the meanig of the painting.
I create windows to the world of the artist, creating that necesary space in which the viewer gets access to the illusions and challlenges of the human experiences. I am insterested in the unexpected associations, which comes with doubts, anguish and confusion, but also illumination and the great pleasure to feel sucess.
