Biography: Hi ! My name's Mehmet AKKAYA I was born in Turkey-Burdur in 1972. completed my primary and secondary school education in Burdur'. My interest about art started in those years. Then, I admired the oil'pointed tecnique of senior students. I also started to try this technique at hom. I have always liked drawing, but I started drawing pictures in thouse days. We had two art hours in a week at school, but this want's satifying. Parents always warnet met to study other courses not art. She couldn't know but I think, she felt that her son wold make his living on drawing in future. I want to thank, my art teacher's Nermin BASER. Who, was my art teacher when I was at secondary school, framed my drawing and provided it to be sold. And I want to thank Cahit ANIK whom I learnet a lot about drawing form. In 1990 I completed my high school education facult, art section. I want to thank Zafer ÖZKÜTÜK, the manager of fine arts galery, because he opened a preparation course for the University exam. I want to thank Nur GÖKBULUT, Yusuf Baytekin BALCI, Cengiz SAVAŞ, Vedat CAN, Gönül AYANOĞLU, Necmettin YAĞCI and Osman ALTINTAŞ who taught me during four year at university. I graduated from university in 1994 and was appointed to Antakya Ali Sayar primary education school as an art teacher. Then, I worked at Adıyaman Gerger High school for one year, at Kirikkale Mustafa Özbek Primary education school for two years, at Kırıkkale Anatolian Fine Art Highschool for two years. I have been working at Aydın Anatolian Fine Arts Highschool for tree years.
