In order to define my art, I would need to create a name that would fit between Abstract Expressionism, Minimalism and Satirical Comedy. Although all of these currents are extremes, they also have similarities. Why can’t my art be somewhere nestled between these? For me, creating art is a very internal and personal experience. I love it because of the way I feel while I am in full flow; the process of creation is what captives me and certainly puts me in trance. I make no pretensions of showing my emotions and feelings through my art, but I do not stop these from emerging either. To create my art, I try to emphasize the greandeur of simplicity through a game of confronting fortuitous events with loose and instantaneous methods. Colour, Shape, Concept and wordplay provide a crucial role in doing this.
Biography: Education. MA Fine Art - Chelsea College of Art & Design BA Fine Art - University of Leeds BTEC Art & Design - Burslem School of Art Process & Practice. In developing and making my artwork i use the camera as my choice of tool. This does not make me a photographer but an artist with a spercific medium. None of my photographic images are computer generated and i only use colour balance to bring out the hidden texture of the image.
