Biography: My name is Nick Rumbelow, and I am a self-taught digital artist with 10 years experience. I have been teaching computer-based graphics at a leading Investment Bank in London for three years, and I am now exploring ways of exposing my artwork. I have developed a unique style of art, which I call The Implicate Form, inspired by the book “Wholeness and the Implicate Order” by physicist David Bohm. In my work the whole, explicate form of the image is implied by the collective relationships of the pattern of cells. My goal is to illustrate the effect and role of mind through matter, how, like a hand within a glove, the rise and fall of the energy within modifies all of Nature. The Implicate Form begins with hand-drawn contours, then a PC is used for light and shading effects. I hope you enjoy my work.
