Over the years Ferenc has received many awards and honors for his work and has been featured in many print and online publications. Biography: Ferenc Pataki was born on 31st January 1944 in Zrenjanin where he still lives. On account of painting he has quit his job as a clerk and for already 11 years devoted himself only to the art and getting to perfection. While young he was making music, and music is always very close to the art of painting. Since his was 15 he was playing the guitar in the orchestras. After establishing a family, he found a job and moved into a flat on the fourth floor. In free time there was place for something new. He started various techniques: ink, drawings, aquarelle.In 1987 he has exhibited for the first time abroad, in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. From there he has separated, he become independent, original and of an always recognizable NAIVE style. Numerous exhibits at home and abroad follow, from Korea, Singapore, Tokyo, New York, to Chicago, Melbourne, Seville... His paintings are part of representative galleries and private collections on every continent, in more than 35 countries. Especially in Japan and Latin America.
