Works displayed here are part of the cycle »Fences« that I started to develop in the year 1999. and I am still working on it. The subject are ordinary metal fences, we can see them all around us, everywhere, surrounding huge objects under construction. I was drawn to the changes that I noticed on them, atmospherical, chemical, physical changes... Colour of those fences, as time passes, is enriched, it has a specific pictorial quality that captivates my imagination and makes me more interested for that object in the space around me.Cycle »Fences« is consisted of four groups of works: paintings (mixed media on canvas and on wood panel), ambience, photographs and small mixed media works on paper. The group of photographs from the cycle »Houses« was made in collaboration with Rumanian artist Daniel Constantinescu, during the artistic workshop in Didymotheicon, Greece, exploring the idea of home.
Biography: Born: 29. 6. 1972. in Belgrade Graduated from the Belgrade Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2000., Professor Cedomir Vasic's class. Actually studying for his master's degree. He participated in many colonies and workshops in the country and abroad. In 2001, he became a member of the Serbian Association of Fine Artists (ULUS). Solo exhibitions: 2003. - "26 meters of drawnigs and 3 paintings", Gallery "Zvono", Belgrade 2002. - Works on paper, Student's Cultural Center gallery, Kragujevac, - "Houses" in collaboration with Rumanian artist Daniel Constantinescu, Remont Gallery, Belgrade, 2001. - "Fences" - as a part of the "Permanent events" project, Great Gallery of the Students' Cultural Center, Belgrade, - Paintings, Nina Todorovic and Predrag Terzic, Gallery of the Native Museum of Ruma, - Paintings, Gallery of the Media Center, Belgrade, February 2001., - "Fences", Gallery SULUJ, Group exhibitions: In 1996. he begun exhibiting his art, and took part in more than twenty group exhibitions in the country and abroad ( Canada, Belgium, Greece, Austria ).
