I am a dedicated artist looking to specialize in graphic design. I use Photoshop primarily but I know Illustrator, InDesign, Image Ready, Quark, Dreamweaver, and Flash. I adapt well to other graphics programs quickly. I am motivated, reliable and often finish tasks extremely fast without losing quality. I work well in groups and alone. I am friendly and but I can also take charge as a leader. I have received several awards for my work: from the Chula Vista Art Guild, The Imation Computer Arts Scholarship, the Mary Edna Rose Scholarship, and Islander Achievement Award for Visual Arts.
Biography: Education: California State University Long Beach: I am working toward my BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in marketing. Coronado High School: Diploma with 4.0 GPA Coronado School of the Arts: Studio art, art business, and life drawing. Job History: Freelance Graphic Design: 08/03 - present. This consists of odd jobs, paid and unpaid, doing some quick jobs in photoshop such as logos and photo touchups. Party Hats Entertainment's Graphic Designer: 06/05 - 07/05. In charge of creating all ads, signage, and logos. Holland's Bikes Muralist: 05/04. Art group working on a mural for a bike shop as part of a community art project. Modern Fix Layout Artist: 08/ 03 - 12/ 03. Getting the articles ready for print, pick fonts, arrange text layout, and added in imagery. Skills: Physical and digital art.
