Biography: Salvatore Lanzafame was born in 1973 in Catania (Italy) where currently lives and he works. To the institute of Art in Catania he undertakes a painting of experimentation and he graduates in 1992. In the same period, he attends the school of painting of the teacher engraver Gaetano Signorelli, for which he will be the typographer for three years. He graduates to the academy of Fine Arts of Catania where, through an individual search has combined the tradition of the Romantic landscapes and the expressive strength of the colors of the avant-garde. Then he finds new expressive enthusiasms from the use combined of languages and a different expressive means, facing an introspective search and of conceptual order that has the opportunity of developing through the production of assemblages; but it is expressly in the pictorial search that a constant exercise and softly insisted it goes to grant in arcane forms the perceptible phenomenons as, the natural depths, filtered only from atmospheric colors, translate in thrilling and saturated chromatic mass of plastic-constructive essences, the effects of the absolute one to perceive.
