Biography: Mike Vagnoni is the creative mind behind Something Creative. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Mike's studio now occupies a corner of the cottage he shares with his wife, Amy, in Grayslake, Illinois. From the illustrated castle in the backyard, to murals in the basement and the baby’s room, to other pictures adorning the walls; the home reflects Mike’s whimsical nature along with his more serious side. Mike’s primary illustration medium is pen and ink, often with color added using pencils, water colors, and computer-based tools. He also uses acrylics for indoor murals and enamels for outdoor murals.
