Sue, a Somerset artist, artworks reflect her inspiration of landscapes and nature in general. Her unique three-dimensional pieces contains varied natural materials obtained locally. The end product is painted in metalic colours and varnished, resulting in varied appearances when observed from different angles. Different lighting positions will enhance different aspects of the artwork, due to the varied textures.
Biography: Originally from Knysna, South Africa, Sue-Anne located to Taunton, Somerset, UK in 2002. At College her interest in three dimensional artwork was awakened by an art project in her last year, whilst being tutored by Mr Daan Roestorf. Since she has experimented with different materials and are forever adding new techniques to her new totally unique pieces. Recently she was awarded the first prize in the local Taunton Flowershow for her entry in the Mixed Media category.
