I create my art from a powerfully intuitive place. Most of my pieces come to me through visions, dreams and deeply felt emotion. I work in many different media; some of my favorites are metal, collage and found object art.
Biography: Susan grew up in southern California and while she now lives in the Bay Area, the natural beauty of the beaches, deserts and mountains in So CAL will always be a place of inspiration and renewal for her (though the people won't). Susan has been a biologist, travelor,novelist, teacher, tutor and anthropologist. Her artistic yearnings opened up after living in Sevilla, Spain. Since then, she has taken drawing, sculpture and metal work classes at various fine arts schools. Recently, she is developing a purely intuitive, reflective style of work in which she primarily uses found objects and metal to create sculpture, wall hangings and collage.
