Greetings. Portraits by Thom is the result of many years of hard work and practice. I belive the eyes are the mirrors of the soul, and, being colorblind, the images I create from photos are what my eyes, and therefore my soul, sees. "Let me turn your photo into a heirloom," is my motto. I understand how valued and treasured even a single moment in time can be, so I focus 100% on making it the best image possible.
Biography: Thom Futrell was born and raised in Jackson Michigan. He established himself as an artist at a young age, drawing pictures of his childhood books. Eventually this led to cartooning, and after a year of drawing class, portraits. He is now in the process of getting a degree in art, to go along with the degree in literature. He has four books not related with art published with two more on the way.
